Course 1: Fire & Shelter
What happens when the sun dips and the temp drops? We'll teach you the vital art of thermal regulation. From friction fire starting to debris hut construction, you'll gain the confidence to survive a night in the deep woods without a tent. Our instructors have over 12 years of field experience in the Adirondacks. Would you know what to do if your matches got wet?
Course 2: Foraging NY
The Northeast is a literal buffet if you know where to look. We'll identify edible tubers, medicinal bark, and the local flora that keeps you fueled. You'll never look at a trailside "weed" the same way again. It's about ecological literacy, isn't it?
Course 3: Navigation
Batteries die. Satellite signals fail. A compass doesn't. We'll strip away the tech and get back to map reading and terrain association. You'll learn to calculate pace counts and orienteer through dense brush. Ready to find your way home?
Choose Your Path
"The most practical skills I've ever learned. I genuinely feel safer on my solo hikes now."
Yoshinari Desforges
Why did we choose Treble Peak Adventures? Because their instructors don't just teach from a book; they've lived these scenarios. The foraging workshop changed how I hike with my kids forever. Truly an eye-opening weekend.
